What we collect depends on how you use the Service.
•
Account. When you create an account we collect your email address and password, and whether you are signing up as a fan, an artist, or a venue. Your password is stored by our authentication provider (Supabase) in hashed form; we cannot see it. We use this to sign you in and to send account emails such as email confirmation and password reset.
•
Profile and preferences. Your display name, and anything optional you add: a profile photo, a short bio, your hometown, favorite genres, venue-type preferences, discovery radius, and a default city. We use these to personalize what you see.
•
Favorites, follows, and saved shows. The venues you favorite, the artists you follow, and the shows you save. These are tied to your account and are private to you. Venues and artists see only combined counts (for example, how many people opened or saved a show), never who you are.
•
“Learn from my activity” (optional, off by default). If you turn this on, we use the shows you view, save, ask for directions to, or mark “not interested” to reorder your recommendations. We do not store search text for this. Turning it off erases the history and the learned preferences.
•
Location (optional). Only if you choose to use your location. See “Location, maps, and weather” below.
•
Weekly email (optional). If you sign up for our weekly email, we collect the email address you enter, the city it is for, the page you signed up from, and when. We use it only to send that email, which we send through an email service provider. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to remove your address at any time.
•
Push notifications (optional). If you turn on notifications in the iOS or Android app, we store a push token for your device (an Expo push token and the device’s own notification token), the device type, and your notification choices, so we can send the updates you asked for. If you choose “nearby” alerts, we store the city you selected, not your coordinates.
•
Usage analytics. Simple first-party events such as opening the app, viewing a show, venue, or artist, saving or sharing a show, adding it to a calendar, tapping a ticket link, asking for directions, viewing pricing, and starting or finishing checkout. Each event records the show, venue, or artist it relates to, the time, and, if you are signed in, your account ID. See “What we do not collect” for what is never recorded.
•
Venue and artist profiles. If you create or claim a profile, we collect the details you add (such as name, address, phone, website, hours, bio, social links, genres, images, and events) and the evidence you give us to show you manage it (for example, a business email or phone number). Details you add to a public listing can be seen by anyone. Claim evidence is for our review only. When you add images, you confirm that you own them or have permission to use them, and we record that confirmation.
•
Schedule imports. If you import a schedule by pasting text or uploading a flyer, photo, PDF, or calendar file, we store what you submit privately and use it to create draft events for your review. If AI-assisted import is available and you use it, the text or image is sent to Anthropic, which runs the AI model that reads it and suggests show details. Nothing is published until you approve it.
•
Reports and corrections. If you report a listing or ask us to review an image, we record what you reported, the reason you chose, and your account ID if you are signed in.
•
Billing. Paid plans for venues and artists are billed through Stripe. Stripe collects your card details; we never see or store a card number. We send Stripe your account email and an internal reference so the subscription can be matched to the right venue or artist, and we store the plan, its status and dates, and Stripe’s customer and subscription IDs.
•
Technical information. Like any app or website, the services that deliver it receive your IP address, device and browser type, and the requests your device makes. We do not use this to track you across other sites or apps.
•
On your device. Your sign-in session and your settings (such as your selected city, light or dark theme, and your analytics choice) are kept in your browser’s local storage or the app’s storage on your phone.
